Metrc serves an intercontinental audience navigating the cannabis industry's track-and-trace demands and the company is positioned for tremendous growth. Expanding in to new states and countries, Metrc found itself with new sets of use cases and demands that wasn't sustainable for their product.

Their previous application utilized outdated technologies and patterns, resulting in a cumbersome experience that created more pain points than solutions. After uncovering unique opportunities during our audit, we recommended a near-complete overhaul of the system, from visual interface elements to UX patterns. Colors, whitespace, and clear calls-to-action were implemented to inspire their users to operate with confidence and clarity.
